Jerry works as a janitor, then he plays video games and does it all over again. Jerry waits in line at the grocery store to buy a lottery ticket, and a busy lady asks if she can get in front because she’s in a hurry. He lets her cut. Jerry later finds out on the news that she won the jackpot. He’s pissed.

Jerry reacts with his mother. He decides to stalk the woman and visit her at her house. She’s happy at first, then gets pissed after he proceeds to inform her that she owes him the winnings because he was just trying to be nice. She gives him a dollar. Jerry loses it.

Nancy gets her kids up in the morning and ready to leave. Jerry goes into stalker mode and shows up at her house every day until she folds. She never does. She challenges him to do something better with his life. She hurts his feelings and he gives up.

Jerry has a breakdown at home. He loses sleep for a night as he thinks about what was said to him. In the morning, Nancy shows up with the news lady and she despitefully presents the lottery winnings to him with a little bit of attempted guilt. He accepts and tells the reporter on camera that it was what he deserved. He and his mother celebrates. He calls his job and quits.

Jerry is up excited and ready to collect a check. He goes to collect his winnings at the lottery office. He’s confused and has quite the argument with the teller. He goes back to Nancy's house again. She leaves him a note and a flyer to a video game championship with the chance to win money.

Jerry agressively enters gaming competitions and he relaizes he's as success. He earns more money than he ever thougt he could make. He remembers Nancy.

Jerry plans todo something good to give back to his community and help make the world a better place. He soon realizes what his mother had up her sleeve this whole time.
